From a bone-shaking beginning to a stoner comedown at the end, the first album by these Bandung headbangers is a strong addition to the metal scene in Indonesia. Still in their 20s, the members cite Pantera, Slayer and Led Zeppelin as western influences. Domestically, they have spent much time listening to Godbless, Jeruji and Puppen, the now-defunct band from Bandung fronted by Arian13, current lead singer for Seringai. Combining the best of both netherworlds, "Panorama" is a solid foray into the world of head-nodding metal and guttural grunts. The group takes a bilingual approach to lyrics (English and Indonesian) though neither are comprehensible and sound more like they're being belched from the depths of hell. Regardless of where the power emanates, this hard-to-find cd is sure to draw all walks of life into their lair.
