About This Act :

An Indonesian legend, Slank have endured the never ending competition in Indonesian music industry, and survived through the time and regeneration. Many might not aware that the group was actually born with the name 'Cikini Stones Complex' or CSC, indicating the band's members' former high school in Jakarta.
Has often sticking in critiques in their songs, Slank once almost had to face jail threat due to the Indonesian House of Representatives' accusation for humiliation of the organization, but then the case wasn't sustained. The group is known for creating truthful lyrics about life, human, and also social problems.
During the 80's til now, Slank has been changing personnel around 14 times, and on the last formation, remained Bimbim (Drum), Kaka (Vocal), Ivanka (Bass), Ridho (Guitar) and Abdee (Guitar).
